Are You Bored With Your Business?

Ever feel like there’s more to your business than what you’re currently doing?

Most of the time, you feel really passionate about your business sometimes but when it’s a sunny day outside you feel torn, because you’d rather go out and play then be working hard indoors. And you want to feel a strong passionate pull towards your business but if you’re being completely honest right now… you don’t.

Or maybe you’ve achieved some big goal that you’ve been working on for a while, and you’re now left wondering… what now?

In this video, I’m going to share why your boredom is a sign from the Universe nudging you to get to know yourself on another level, and inviting you to tap deeper into your life’s purpose.

So you may be thinking to yourself, “but this is what I do and I’m really good at it so why would I want to change my profession?” Or you may be at the other end of the spectrum; you know EXACTLY what I’m talking about and you’re wondering what’s next but you’re not sure what step to take.

Either way this boredom is pointing you in the direction of your True North, and is indicating to you that maybe you should probe a little deeper, and step a little closer to your purpose.

The nature of the Universe is about growth, and not stagnancy. On a similar note, this boredom you’re experiencing is reminding you that your true nature is growth and not stagnancy.

But before we can grow, we must let go of what is to make room for what could be. We have to let go of what the current situation is. This could be as simple as you just giving yourself permission to approach your business as a blank slate and reimagine it all over again from the ground up, or even some little decision that you need to give yourself permission to let go of, like the way you’re currently charging your customers or packaging your offering.

You should be doing this without the baggage of where you currently are or what you’re trying to make work out there.

If you’re a services professional: perhaps your approach to selling your time needs to shift, and maybe it’s time for your program or system to evolve

If you’re selling a product: maybe it’s time to get in touch with your customers and listen to what it is they truly desire from you. From that, how you can refine or evolve your current products accordingly? Why not empower your customers and try co-creating something together? Some of the best brands in the world use co-creation to create new products and new revenue streams.

Recently, I invested in having a one-day strategic planning session facilitated for my business and it was one of the most worthwhile days I’ve spent in my business in months, years even.

Even though what came out of it wasn’t rocket science, and wasn’t extremely different from where my business currently is, it really helped me deeply re-connect to the original vision and purpose of my business. It really helped provide me that access point to go out and create the things that I want with a whole new source of energy.

Since most of my team works remotely, it was incredibly valuable to have the space I hold for my consulting clients held for me for a change. It was one of the best investments of my time and money that I’ve put into my business.

We did come up with a few new great ideas that we’re in the process of, but more importantly… I walked away feeling completely reinvigorated

And so I invite you to consider… When was the last time you worked ON your business for a whole day?

When you’re feeling a bit bored with your business, what do you do to centre back and reconnect with your purpose?
